First Steps
Fleet and Family Support
CNIC is short for Commander Navy Installations Command. The FFSP supports family through programs and resources that help the families adapt to the new military life. The program offers personal education, deployment support, financial counseling, and so much more. This successful program has over 81 sites worldwide. Some of the links that the website provides is background history and what their main purpose is to the fellow working individuals.
One of the many great programs they have is the Navy Housing Program. Their first concern is to help house people in their local community where they are stationed. They make sure their customer receives an affordable, comfortable, and safe environment of a home. This program allows for the active duty person and their family to rest easy because they already have a lot of other things to worry about when moving.
